Contracts Manager

About the role

The Contracts Manager will oversee all contractual aspects of construction projects across multiple regions, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, and that contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle. This role works closely with tendering teams, site engineers, and client representatives to safeguard the organization’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Study pre‑BID documents, raise queries and analyse potential risks.
• Support the Tendering Team with risk impact assessments and mitigation plans.
• Prepare Contract Appreciation Documents (CAD) and interpret contractual provisions after award.
• Monitor contracts on‑site, manage correspondence with clients, PMC and engineers.
• Identify, value and submit claims, handle extensions of time and schedule impacts.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions and interpret clauses accurately.
• Draft, proof‑read and safeguard all contractual correspondences and agreements.
• Coordinate monthly correspondence with business units and head office.
• Compile monthly MIS reports on communications and claim status for quarterly reviews.
• Maintain a comprehensive record of all contractual correspondence for future reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• PGP in Advanced Construction Management (NICMAR) preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction contracts or project management.
• Strong team player with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
