About the role

Metso is looking for a Controller, Business/Operational to join its Finance team in Santiago, Chile. The role focuses on accelerating spare‑part sales by optimizing order management, ensuring on‑time deliveries and enhancing the overall customer experience across the South America market area.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage customer orders to drive sales growth and ensure a seamless order‑to‑delivery process.
• Follow up regional investments and perform financial analysis on investment projects.
• Lead and coordinate communication with stakeholders throughout complex order and project deliveries.
• Analyze orders, prioritize high‑value opportunities and guarantee timely, cost‑effective deliveries.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks that could impact customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to continuously improve services based on feedback.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales estimate reports.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial analyses for regional investment projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and occupational standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance, controlling or related analytical roles.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate orders, financial data and investment performance.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make quick, informed decisions.
• Familiarity with the South America market area is advantageous.
