Corporate Legal Counsel – Chile

About the role

We are seeking a senior Corporate Legal Counsel to act as the primary legal advisor for our Chilean subsidiary and the broader South American Energy Storage business. You will provide strategic legal guidance, manage risk, and support business growth across Chile, Argentina, and Brazil.

Key responsibilities

• Advise executives and managers on corporate governance, finance, marketing, HR, and operational matters.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, with particular focus on sales and EPC agreements in the energy sector.
• Develop and enforce compliance policies, corporate record‑keeping, and ethical standards.
• Oversee litigation strategy, manage external counsel, and represent the company in court when required.
• Protect intellectual property by coordinating with the IP department.
• Contribute legal insight to strategic decisions, market entry, and product launches.
• Lead and mentor an internal legal team and coordinate with external law firms and works council representatives.

Required profile

• Law degree with admission to practice in Chile, Argentina, or another LATAM jurisdiction.
• Minimum 8 years of corporate law experience, preferably a mix of private practice and in‑house roles within manufacturing or energy.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex sales and EPC contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strategic, commercial mindset with high integrity.
