Cost Accounting, Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Cost Accounting, Finance Manager to lead our cost accounting and financial control functions in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The role will oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX while providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, cost roll management and physical inventory oversight.
• Manage month‑end close, analyze COGP, COGS, manufacturing variances and profitability trends.
• Prepare financial reporting, KPI dashboards and performance analysis for leadership.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen financial systems and controls, and support audit compliance.
• Coach and develop finance staff, ensuring data integrity and effective reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (advanced degree or CPA preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting or financial controls.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting to senior executives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle or similar ERP/EDW systems.
• Advanced Excel and Access skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Explorer).
