Counter Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Counter Manager to lead, coach and develop a team of Sales Associates in a fast‑paced beauty retail environment. You will own the store’s performance, creating and executing an agile business plan that drives sales, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of Sales Associates to meet and exceed sales, service and operational targets.
• Develop and implement strategic in‑store events and customer‑relationship initiatives.
• Create financial plans, manage resources and monitor store performance metrics.
• Recruit, retain and grow a loyal customer base through targeted outreach and exceptional service.
• Handle complex customer situations with diplomacy and ensure a high‑quality shopping experience.
• Maintain accurate records using the store’s computerised systems.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and coaching experience in a retail setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a high drive to meet objectives.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team.
• High attention to detail, organisational ability and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
