Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

AudienceView is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead and support its PCI DSS compliance program and secure the organization’s expanding AI and LLM initiatives. You will work in a fast‑moving live‑events software environment, balancing security responsibilities with rapid business delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand the PCI DSS compliance program, including scoping, gap assessments, evidence collection, and coordination with QSAs for annual audits.
• Plan, execute, and document penetration tests on internal and external systems, web applications, and APIs, and drive remediation with engineering teams.
• Conduct application security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability assessments across the software portfolio.
• Evaluate and secure AI and LLM integrations.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, including flexible on‑call support.
• Design, implement, and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures aligned with industry and regulatory frameworks.
• Perform security reviews of system architectures, network configurations, and deployments to ensure PCI DSS requirements are met from design through production.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security and compliance into the SDLC and investigate security alerts.

Required profile

• Passionate about cybersecurity and PCI DSS compliance.
• Curious about the security implications of AI and LLM adoption.
• Strong communicator able to explain complex security topics to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Enjoys mentoring peers and fostering a security‑first culture.

Required skills

• Hands‑on web and API penetration testing experience.
• Proficiency with Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and Nmap.
• Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and real‑world application vulnerabilities.
• Experience managing the vulnerability lifecycle from discovery to remediation.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS requirements and audit processes.
