Demand Planner – Amazon FBA (Remote LATAM)

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Demand Planner with hands‑on Amazon FBA experience to optimise inventory planning, forecasting and replenishment across Amazon marketplaces. The role is remote for candidates in LATAM and focuses on keeping products in stock while minimising excess inventory and storage costs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for Amazon FBA and FBM inventory using historical sales data, seasonality and market trends.
• Monitor inventory levels across Amazon fulfillment centres and flag risks of stockouts or excess inventory.
• Create and manage replenishment plans and purchase orders in coordination with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Analyse sell‑through rates and inventory performance metrics to continuously refine forecasting models.
• Manage Amazon’s Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score and implement strategies to maintain healthy levels.
• Coordinate with account management and operations teams to align inventory plans with promotional calendars and product launches.
• Reconcile Amazon inventory reports, identify discrepancies or lost/damaged inventory and file reimbursement claims.
• Provide weekly and monthly inventory and forecast reports to stakeholders.
• Identify slow‑moving inventory and recommend remediation strategies such as pricing adjustments, promotions or removal orders.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of demand planning or inventory management experience.
• Hands‑on experience managing Amazon FBA inventory.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret sales trends and inventory data.
• Advanced English communication skills (C1 level).
