About the role

DevOcho is looking for a QA Developer to join its Scrum team and help deliver high‑quality software solutions for U.S. clients. You will focus on automating web‑based tests, performing manual testing of new features, and ensuring robust test coverage across projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a Scrum team developing software for multiple clients.
• Build automated tests for web‑based applications using Python‑based tools.
• Create and maintain manual and automated test plans with a test‑management system.
• Execute automated load‑testing scripts.
• Perform routine security testing of software.
• Manually test new features, log defects, and provide detailed reproduction steps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or development.
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Flexible, “can‑do” attitude and ability to stay professional under pressure.
• Organized, capable of multitasking and managing time effectively.
• Experience protecting confidential material and working in fast‑paced agile environments.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Python testing frameworks such as Pytest and Playwright (or similar).
• SQL databases – MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Load‑testing tools like Gatling or Locust.
