DevOps Engineer

About the role

Murex is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate automated platforms that enable reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of the MX platform across SaaS, cloud, and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
• Automate environment provisioning, configuration, upgrades and build reusable automation components.
• Deploy and manage MX environments across development, testing, and production stages, ensuring standardisation and compliance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain platform observability and reliability.
• Manage environment data lifecycle, including provisioning, masking, and database operations.
• Act as a technical escalation point for incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and coordinate resolutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 1‑4 years of IT experience with 1‑2 years in DevOps or CI/CD.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in production environments and collaborate with global teams.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
• Version control: Git (advanced usage).
• Template engine: FreeMarker (FTL).
• Scripting: Shell, Python, Groovy.
• Operating systems: Linux/Unix.
• Cloud platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP.
• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS.
