Director of Corporate Audit

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Corporate Audit to lead the global audit function for a leading multinational organization. This strategic position offers high exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape audit practices across international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute global audit engagements and advisory projects, delivering high‑quality, value‑added insights.
• Develop and implement risk‑based audit plans aligned with business priorities.
• Oversee complex audits and deep‑dive reviews of critical processes.
• Lead investigations and provide expert advice on risk, internal controls, and governance.
• Drive adoption of data analytics and digital tools within the audit function.
• Enhance audit methodologies, standards, and overall capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high‑performing audit team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of audit experience (internal and/or external) with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience operating in international or global environments.
• Strong expertise in risk‑based auditing, investigations, and executive‑level stakeholder management.
• Solid knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and modern audit methodologies.
• Fluent English (C1) and advanced Spanish (minimum B2).
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CFE are a plus.
