Director, Solutions Strategy

About the role

Apply is seeking a Director, Solutions Strategy to translate client business challenges into credible, buildable technology solutions and ensure their success through delivery. The role balances outward client‑facing solution design with internal improvement of Apply’s own solution frameworks. It is a senior, mentor‑focused position operating in a hybrid/remote environment, preferably based in Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise‑grade technology solutions for new initiatives and business opportunities.
• Define solution scope, capacity, and high‑level estimates in collaboration with product, design, engineering, data, and other teams.
• Present and articulate technology solutions, trade‑offs, and recommendations to client stakeholders, including advising against unsuitable options.
• Lead technology and vendor assessments and influence buy‑vs‑build decisions.
• Engage the partner ecosystem to apply external capabilities to client problems.
• Ensure proposed solutions balance business objectives, technical feasibility, scalability, delivery realities, and long‑term client strategy.
• Contribute to pipeline quality and win rates for opportunities you shape.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with client technology leadership and management teams.

Required profile

• Senior practitioner with a track record of turning complex business problems into actionable technology solutions.
• Mentor who raises the quality of solution approaches, estimating models, and the capabilities of strategists and technologists.
• Strong influence built on sound thinking and trust with client technology leaders.
• Ability to work in Latin America time zones (Pacific or Eastern) and thrive in a remote/hybrid setting.
