Fast Charging Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Fast Charging Business Development Specialist will drive the growth of electric vehicle fast‑charging infrastructure in Chile. You will combine market research, partner development and project execution to build a profitable network of fast‑charging stations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on EV charging market size, subsidy policies, business models and network planning in Chile.
• Develop cost and profit models for fast‑charging stations.
• Identify and engage local partners for grid upgrades, equipment installation and on‑site operations.
• Design and propose realistic network plans for fast‑charging stations.
• Coordinate implementation with BYD headquarters and local partners, ensuring timely site construction.
• Collaborate with partners to operate and maintain fast‑charging stations, guaranteeing reliable service.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial charging stations or energy‑storage business.
• Degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of power and electrical systems and the operation of charging stations.
