Field Operations Engineer – Chile

About the role

As a Field Operations Engineer based in Chile, you will serve as the primary liaison between project managers, supply‑chain specialists, service program managers, suppliers and customers. You will coordinate all aspects of autonomous mobile‑robot (AMR) deployments and maintenance at customer sites, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of contractors, setting clear expectations and monitoring performance, quality and productivity.
• Plan and execute onsite implementation projects, defining scope, budget, schedule and subcontracting services, and integrate them into the master project plan.
• Conduct hardware inspections, quality‑control checks and pre‑deployment testing, and prepare environments for SIT, UAT and performance testing.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware‑related issues both remotely and on‑site, documenting solutions and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, especially supply‑chain teams, to manage delivery schedules and implementation plans.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage site implementations across client operations, IT teams and contractors.
• Experience with warehouse or manufacturing automation, electrical and mechanical installations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 80 % of the time to client sites.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
