Finance Associate Director

About the role

Fitch Group is looking for a Finance Associate Director to join its Latin America finance team, based in Chile. The role will support treasury, payroll, accounting, tax, reporting and compliance functions across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage treasury activities including billings, collections, payments and cash‑flow oversight.
• Oversee payroll processes and ensure accurate execution.
• Support accounting and tax activities and prepare related documentation.
• Prepare and review financial reporting for local requirements and regional hub reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local legal, regulatory and statutory obligations.
• Interact with other departments, especially Business Relationship Management, to provide finance‑related information.
• Support finance‑related projects and ad‑hoc initiatives.
• Collaborate across the regional finance structure to meet business needs and timelines.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of success within a finance team.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on approach with high attention to detail.
• Dynamic, able to contribute effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
