Financial Planning Analyst

About the role

Ausenco is looking for an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join its Finance team in Chile. The role will provide financial and operational analysis to support decision‑making, budgeting, forecasting and performance management across the South America region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial, operational and KPI reporting for South America and other business areas as needed.
• Produce performance reports and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Develop financial models, presentations and analytical tools to support business decisions.
• Analyse results to identify drivers, risks, opportunities and trends.
• Partner with managers and senior leaders to gather information and translate operational performance into financial insights.
• Support the annual audit process and ensure compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.
• Maintain dashboard reporting and business‑intelligence solutions, including forecasting, EACs, AR/WIP and operational metrics.
• Review inter‑company transactions, general‑ledger activity and balance‑sheet items.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting or business analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Proven ability to translate operational performance into financial assumptions and recommendations.
