Founding Tech Recruiter (Freelance)

About the role

Pragmatike is seeking a founding Tech Recruiter to lead talent acquisition as the company scales its early‑stage startup services. This fully remote freelance position will act as a strategic partner, shaping recruiting processes from the ground up and working directly with founders, product, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end recruiting systems, processes and standards for technical and go‑to‑market roles.
• Source, engage and evaluate candidates across engineering, product, sales and marketing functions.
• Build and nurture a pipeline of high‑quality talent within the startup ecosystem.
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to refine hiring strategies and hiring plans.
• Represent Pragmatike as a visible advocate in the tech talent community.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles, either in‑house or at a search agency.
• Comfortable working in fast‑moving, ambiguous startup environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to make every candidate feel valued.
• Strong personal brand and network in the recruiting community (e.g., active LinkedIn presence).
• Commitment to high‑quality candidate experience and rigorous processes.
