Groceries & Retail Account Manager

About the role

We are scaling our grocery and retail marketplace and need an Account Strategist to own the partnership with a key retailer. The role translates global vision into merchant‑specific strategies, driving operational excellence and high‑impact growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute data‑driven strategic plans to exceed revenue targets through upsell initiatives and new growth levers.
• Lead joint business planning sessions and complex commercial renegotiations, aligning internal teams with partner priorities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the retailer’s headquarters, managing C‑level relationships and ensuring partner satisfaction.
• Collaborate across local, regional and global teams to resolve operational issues and scale innovative solutions.
• Monitor KPI performance, troubleshoot merchant processes and maintain day‑to‑day execution excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in consulting, account management or business development.
• Full professional proficiency in English and the local language.
• Experience handling long‑cycle negotiations and high‑value partnerships.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and manage multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
• SQL for deeper data‑led insights (preferred).
