Head of School – International Bilingual School

About the role

The Head of School will lead Trewhela’s School, a top‑ranking bilingual institution in Providencia, Chile. You will be responsible for delivering the Chilean National Curriculum alongside Cambridge International and UK programmes while ensuring outstanding student outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the school’s strategic vision, aligning academic, financial and operational goals.
• Oversee curriculum delivery across the Chilean, Cambridge and UK pathways.
• Drive student achievement and maintain the school’s position in the top 1% nationally.
• Manage the school’s budget, financial performance and resource allocation.
• Lead, develop and retain senior and teaching staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Build strong relationships with parents, alumni, local community and Nord Anglia regional teams.
• Ensure compliance with national education regulations and international accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a large, bilingual or international school (2,000+ students).
• Commercial awareness and ability to deliver financial targets.
• Fluency in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills.
• Experience working within a multi‑school network or global education organisation.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement and community‑building capabilities.

• Knowledge of Chilean curriculum, Cambridge International Assessment (CAIE), IGCSE and A‑levels.
