Hotel Manager

About the role

The Hotel Manager will lead sales and marketing activities for a Holiday Inn property, ensuring revenue targets are met and guest experiences are exceptional. This senior position combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution across room sales, meeting space, and food & beverage offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement revenue, sales, and marketing strategies to achieve hotel sales goals.
• Manage day‑to‑day sales activities, assign work, and set performance and development objectives for the sales team.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to improve team performance and resolve conflicts.
• Train the sales team on new account development, account maintenance, and sales strategy execution.
• Collaborate with department managers to align staffing levels with guest volume.
• Deliver guest information on loyalty programs, local attractions, and hotel facilities to enhance the guest experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and external contacts to generate group, convention, and catering business.
• Schedule conventions and business group activities, coordinating with hotel departments to fulfill service agreements.
• Identify operational issues affecting marketing effectiveness and work with relevant departments on solutions.
• Promote the hotel’s brand and reputation within the local community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (field not specified).
• Proven experience in hotel sales, marketing, or revenue management.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of coaching and developing sales teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
