Industrial Integration Engineer (OT) – Operational Technology

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Integration Engineer specialized in Operational Technology (OT) to lead the delivery of warehouse automation and control projects. The role is hands‑on, focusing on the design, integration and commissioning of OT solutions that connect warehouse management, yard management and production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integration architectures for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Yard Management Systems (YMS).
• Configure and program PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI and MES platforms to control material handling equipment.
• Develop and maintain APIs and enterprise system integrations linking OT devices with ERP, cloud services and edge computing resources.
• Plan and deploy OT networking (WAN/LAN, wireless, industrial Ethernet) and ensure reliable connectivity for RFID, barcode scanners and rugged mobile devices.
• Implement Mobile Device Management solutions (e.g., SOTI) and oversee label‑printing and device provisioning.
• Validate communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA and MQTT across the automation landscape.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering warehouse technology and industrial integration projects.
• Strong execution and delivery mindset with ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with warehouse OT environments and automation standards.
