Infra Validation Test & Acceptance Manager (VIE)

About the role

Alstom is looking for a motivated VIE to lead the validation, testing and acceptance of on‑shore and off‑shore rail infrastructure subsystems. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that all technical requirements are met before final hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Define and coordinate VTA (validation, testing, acceptance) objectives and processes for infrastructure subsystems.
• Plan, execute and optimise test programmes from factory acceptance to final acceptance.
• Collaborate with the requirements manager to verify contractual obligations.
• Identify, assess and escalate risks or issues related to VTA activities.
• Lead T&C gate reviews and report subsystem performance.
• Supervise the VTA work package’s quality, cost, delivery and performance (QCDP).

Required profile

• Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in railway systems and infrastructure.
• Ability to make strategic decisions and solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Testing and commissioning of rail infrastructure.
• Knowledge of railway systems.
• Understanding of electric power distribution.
• Familiarity with signalling, track construction works and overhead catenary systems (OCS).
