Insight Data Engineer – Anywhere in Chile

About the role

Infosys is seeking an Insight Data Engineer to join its Digital Platforms Insights team. The role is fully remote within Chile and focuses on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and analytical solutions that turn raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop SQL code using AWS Athena for data extraction and transformation.
• Create, edit, and maintain Tableau workbooks to visualize business metrics.
• Build automated data solutions and monitor their performance.
• Tune and optimize existing automated jobs for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot failures and resolve data pipeline issues.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to answer business questions.
• Query data to support investigations and generate insights.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to define metrics and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to capture accurate information.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of hands‑on ETL development experience.
• 1‑2 years of experience creating Tableau dashboards.
• Proficiency in SQL for analysis and data investigation (1‑2 years).
• Practical experience with AWS services such as CloudWatch, Lambda, EMR, and Athena.
• Analytical mindset with curiosity about data.
