Inspector de Calidad

About the role

UPS is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure that all incoming materials, work‑in‑process, and finished products meet strict dimensional and positional accuracy standards. The role supports the Quality Control department by performing thorough inspections and documenting results.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and report on manufacturing quality, including incoming materials, packaging, labeling components, and final products.
• Use basic inspection gauging tools to verify dimensional and positional accuracy.
• Initiate rejection reports for non‑conforming materials and ensure proper documentation in line with GMP and ISO requirements.
• Drive process improvements, track quality metrics, and present status updates to management.
• Document corrective actions and follow‑up activities to resolve quality issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Strong math skills without reliance on a calculator.
• Minimum two years of experience inspecting mechanical parts and assemblies.

Required skills

• Inspection gauging.
