IoT Software Engineer (Python/Linux) – Remote

About the role

You will design and maintain secure remote‑access and automated test‑bench platforms for a large fleet of autonomous vehicles. Each vehicle operates as a remote Ubuntu server connected via LTE over high‑latency, unreliable networks, and the infrastructure must scale from hundreds to tens of thousands of units.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure remote‑access infrastructure for the vehicle fleet.
• Develop scalable networking solutions and role‑based authentication systems.
• Automate hardware test benches and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure rapid recovery, regression testing, and OTA update management across all vehicles.
• Perform deep Linux (Ubuntu) administration for remote servers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands‑on experience with IoT fleet management.
• Deep Linux administration knowledge, including OTA updates on Ubuntu.
• Advanced English communication skills.
