IT Office Support Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

Join the talent pool for an IT Office Support Consultant and be ready to support IDB Group personnel across our offices in the Caribbean, Central and South America. You will ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, connectivity and training resources for end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user IT support at IDB representations, handling hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Provision, configure and manage standard workstations throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain web‑conferencing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with IT infrastructure maintenance, including networking, telecommunications, security systems and coordination with local service providers.
• Collaborate on new IT initiatives and act as liaison with other IT teams.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, ticketing records, reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in IT support.
• Experience in customer support activities.
• Proficiency in English and one additional official Bank language (Spanish, French or Portuguese).
• Knowledge of AI and generative AI technologies and their ethical use is a plus.
