IT Technical Support – Service Desk (Chile)

About the role

Join Murex’s Service Desk team to provide first‑line IT support for employees in the Chile office and other global sites. You will handle tickets, phone calls, and chat requests, diagnosing issues and delivering effective workarounds in a fast‑paced fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Windows operating systems and end‑user software.
• Set up and replace hardware such as workstations, laptops, monitors, and network cabling.
• Troubleshoot email, network, peripheral, printing, meeting‑room, access‑control, and CCTV incidents.
• Support Teams telephony, mobile devices, and smartphones for end‑users.
• Maintain user accounts in Active Directory, manage disk encryption and antivirus solutions.
• Assist users with Citrix and VPN connectivity.
• Document procedures and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.
• Collaborate with network, storage, and Windows infrastructure teams to resolve complex incidents.
• Cover support shifts as needed and participate in infrastructure improvement discussions.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of service‑desk experience supporting Windows environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn continuously and travel when required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with good communication skills.

• Windows OS (10‑11) and Office 365.
• Active Directory account management.
• VPN and Citrix connectivity.
• Endpoint management tools such as SCCM.
• Service‑desk ticketing systems.
• Hardware installation and network cabling.
• Teams Telephony and mobile device support.
• Disk encryption and antivirus solutions.
