About the role
The Key Account Executive (Farmer) will own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, combining hands‑on commercial execution with strategic partnership building. You will co‑create Joint Business Plans, champion digital and sustainability solutions, and act as the voice of the customer to drive revenue, profitability and an excellent customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily customer relationships and commercial execution, delivering revenue growth, cross‑selling, lane expansion and profitability.
- Build accurate forecasts, develop account plans and customer‑specific proposals, and monitor volume, revenue and margin commitments.
- Map stakeholders, develop multi‑level relationships and co‑create Joint Business Plans that integrate digital, operational and sustainability solutions.
- Lead growth negotiations, renewals and agreements while driving digital solution adoption and sustainability initiatives.
- Analyze KPIs and platform data to generate insights, recommend pricing adjustments and supply‑chain optimisation.
- Lead account health and business reviews, track operational KPIs and CX metrics, and apply corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Digital, CX, Finance and Retail to ensure seamless delivery and consistent SLAs.
Required profile
- Customer‑centric mindset with a bias toward anticipating and meeting customer needs.
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence at multiple customer levels.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills, delivering clear and persuasive messages.
- Consultative selling approach with the ability to identify and articulate value through data‑driven insights.
- Analytical competence to turn data into actionable recommendations.
