KS2 Mathematics Teacher – Primary School

About the role

The Grange School is seeking a dedicated KS2 Mathematics Teacher to join its primary department from February 2027. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality mathematics instruction to Key Stage 2 pupils, fostering both confidence and enjoyment in the subject.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging mathematics lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Contribute to the school’s pastoral programme and support pupils’ social and emotional development.
• Participate in extra‑curricular activities related to mathematics or broader school life.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to whole‑school improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status with a minimum of three years’ experience teaching Key Stage 2 mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and effective pedagogical approaches for this age group.
• Passion for inspiring young learners and promoting a positive attitude towards mathematics.
• Commitment to the school’s values and willingness to engage in pastoral and extra‑curricular duties.
