Laravel Developer + React (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Laravel Developer with strong React experience to join its remote team serving clients across Latin America. You will work on high‑impact, market‑leading applications, collaborating with a diverse group of engineers and designers in a fast‑paced consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel 8+ back‑ends and React front‑ends for client projects.
• Implement RESTful APIs, Inertia.js integrations, and authentication flows using Laravel tools.
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright to ensure code quality.
• Participate in sprint planning, provide accurate estimates, and take ownership of deliverables.
• Collaborate with designers and product owners to align technical solutions with client goals.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (version 8 or newer).
• Proven expertise in Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, and Query Builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing frameworks such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Solid background in frontend development using React (or Vue.js, Livewire) and familiarity with Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
