Lead Banquet Server

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Lead Banquet Server to join our team at a world‑class property. The role involves directing the banquet crew to set up, serve, and break down banquet functions while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate setup of banquet rooms, including draping tables, arranging silverware, folding napkins, placing centerpieces and preparing beverage stations.
• Serve food and beverages, transport trays from the back hall to the function area, and clear tables after service.
• Break down events by bussing tables, handling dirty linens, vacuuming, and restoring the space to its original condition.
• Maintain cleanliness of back‑of‑house areas, organize storerooms, and ensure workstations are stocked.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address issues promptly, and perform final quality checks on food and beverage items.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of food service experience, preferably in banquet service.
• Experience working in a 4‑star or 5‑star venue with synchronized service.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

Required skills

• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits.
• Proficiency in banquet set‑up procedures such as table draping, silverware placement, and beverage station preparation.
