About the role

The Manager, Account Management is a pivotal position within Mastercard Direct Services, focused on expanding and deepening relationships with customers in high‑growth markets across Latin America and the Caribbean. You will act as the single point of contact, shaping long‑term payment strategies and driving portfolio growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously reassess mid‑ and long‑term payment strategies for existing customers and new prospects.
• Grow the portfolio by expanding product and service adoption, acquiring new customers, and identifying fresh growth opportunities.
• Manage customer P&L, ensuring targets for net revenue, volume, fees, and service metrics are met.
• Maintain dashboards, sales pipelines, and market intelligence to support internal decision‑making.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor economics, and provide timely feedback to internal teams.
• Collaborate with Services, Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams to uncover new business opportunities and oversee ongoing projects.
• Analyze market dynamics, key players, and trends to pinpoint growth avenues.

Required profile

• Commercially savvy with a strong sales orientation and proven negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet financial targets, and handle sales pressure.
• Experience building executive‑level relationships within local banks and engaging C‑level partners.
• Strong financial acumen and capability to craft complex sales pitches.
• Comfort operating in a matrix organization and securing senior‑management support.
