Operations & Continuous Improvement Specialist (Distribution Center)

About the role

The Operations & Continuous Improvement Specialist will support adidas’ Labor Management and continuous improvement strategy at the Pudahuel Distribution Center. Working directly on the shop floor, you will identify bottlenecks, analyse productivity data and help translate insights into actionable projects that boost capacity and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Gemba walks to spot operational bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead and execute continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on productivity, capacity and process flow.
• Analyse performance metrics such as UPH and CPU across DC operations.
• Develop improvement proposals based on data analysis and field observations.
• Maintain and enhance dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs, track performance indicators and support follow‑up actions.
• Create process maps and operational flows using Bizagi, Visio or similar tools.
• Collaborate with supervisors and operational teams to implement improvements on the floor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 0–4 years of experience in logistics, distribution‑center or operational roles.
• Exposure to shop‑floor operations or supervisor support is a strong plus.
• Basic understanding of Lean and continuous‑improvement concepts.
• Fluent Spanish and intermediate English.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude and comfort working in a distribution‑center environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting and dashboards.
• Basic Power BI or other data‑visualisation tools.
• Process‑mapping tools such as Bizagi or Visio.
