Personal Injury Records Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Personal Injury Records Coordinator to support our legal team in Chile. Working remotely, you will ensure that all case documentation – from medical records to police reports – is complete, accurate, and ready for attorney review.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and monitor requests for medical records, police reports, investigative materials, video evidence and body‑camera footage.
• Communicate professionally with medical providers, government agencies and other custodians to secure required documentation.
• Track outstanding requests, follow up persistently and update the status of each case file.
• Maintain organized, up‑to‑date electronic case files and conduct regular audits to verify completeness.
• Identify missing, outdated or inconsistent information and take corrective action.
• Document delays or obstacles and escalate issues when necessary.
• Proactively suggest additional evidence that could strengthen case development.
• Collaborate with attorneys and case managers to keep cases progressing efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a legal assistant, records retriever, records manager or coordinator, preferably in personal injury.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time‑management abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills, with a track record of closing documentation gaps.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and work independently.
