About the role

We are seeking a passionate Primary School Teacher to deliver the Cambridge Curriculum and inspire young learners at Chartwell International School Chile.

Key responsibilities

• Keep pulse on objectives and scope of each subject and bring them to life in lessons.
• Plan, prepare and deliver exciting, inclusive lessons across all subjects, experimenting and innovating.
• Regularly update curriculum planners to ensure continuous progress.
• Assign, correct and mark student work, celebrating achievements and identifying improvement areas.
• Adopt evidence‑based teaching practices and stay updated with educational research.
• Establish systematic monitoring, assessment and record‑keeping of student development, progress and behaviour.
• Create engaging weekly class overviews and monthly newsletters for parents and contribute to the school website.
• Take on leadership roles for activities such as assemblies, plays, hall displays, behaviour data collection, etc.
• Serve as a substitute teacher when needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
• Join students on residential field trips to provide memorable educational experiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Passion for education and commitment to meeting diverse student needs.
• Knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum.
• Ability to create inclusive, stimulating learning environments.
