About the role

The school is seeking a passionate Music Education Teacher to plan and deliver age‑appropriate music lessons, foster an inclusive classroom, and support the holistic development of elementary students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment for diverse learners.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
• Assess, record and report student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Develop and maintain classroom routines that promote respect, responsibility and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, parent‑teacher conferences and school events.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enrich music instruction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licensure for the relevant jurisdiction.
• Additional training in special education, literacy or curriculum development (desirable).
• At least 1–3 years of experience teaching elementary‑aged children.
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and varying learning abilities.
