Project Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale network infrastructure construction and capacity delivery programmes in Chile. The role involves overseeing design, construction and operational phases for data centre and fibre projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute infrastructure projects from inception to delivery.
• Coordinate internal and external teams including engineering, construction, procurement and stakeholders.
• Manage schedule, risk and communication with local authorities for permits and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of technical project or programme management experience.
• Proven background in telecommunications, fibre deployment (OSP/ISP), backbone or data‑centre network infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with physical network builds, routing, redundancy, installation, testing and contractor coordination.
• Experience managing multi‑site or multi‑region deployments and understanding of capacity planning, resilience and scalability.
