Project Manager – Customer Delivery

About the role

As a Project Manager Customer Delivery you will lead the planning, execution, and closure of customer projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the primary contact for customers, building strong relationships and driving satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, following FLSmidth project management methodologies.
• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management.
• Coordinate internal teams and external contractors, providing guidance and support.
• Communicate regularly with customers, delivering status updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Control project budgets and schedules, proactively mitigating cost overruns or delays.
• Conduct project reviews with internal stakeholders and customers to assess performance and gather feedback.
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and close‑out reports.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to best‑practice development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in heavy industrial, mining or capital equipment sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering complex customer projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
