Python Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Python Developer to join Evalueserve’s global team delivering market‑risk analytics for major financial clients. You will design, develop and maintain Python‑based applications that support risk modelling, data pipelines and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications for market risk analysis and reporting.
• Integrate risk models and data pipelines with internal systems and databases.
• Automate ETL processes for data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement and validate risk models such as VaR and stress testing.
• Optimize performance of large‑scale data processing and analytics tasks.
• Write clean, testable, well‑documented code following best practices.
• Support ad‑hoc risk analysis and reporting requests from stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional Python development experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Understanding of market‑risk concepts (VaR, sensitivities, risk factors).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
