About the role
We are seeking a proactive Marketing Assistant to support our US‑based digital marketing consultancy’s clients. The role is fully remote and focuses on social media management, website optimization, and content creation to drive engagement and conversions.
Key responsibilities
- Create, design (using Canva) and schedule social media content, including basic video editing.
- Write press releases, blogs, newsletters, and promotional emails.
- Conduct digital audits and present growth recommendations.
- Perform basic edits on WordPress, Wix, and Shopify sites; manage Google Business Listings and Yelp profiles.
- Optimize on‑page SEO elements such as meta tags, alt text, and site structure; monitor site speed and user experience.
- Support account management tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, website optimization, or digital marketing.
- Strong written English with ability to produce professional blogs and press releases.
- Detail‑oriented, analytical, and capable of problem‑solving.
- Experience in a digital marketing agency is a plus.
Required skills
- Canva for graphic design.
- Basic video editing.
- WordPress, Wix, and Shopify.
- Google Business Listings and Yelp management.
- On‑page SEO (meta tags, alt text, site structure).
- Social media scheduling tools.
