About the role
ABB is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive sales of Drives and Electric Motors in the mining sector of Antofagasta. The role combines account management, new market development, and coordination of sales processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage key accounts within the mining sector and grow the Drives and Electric Motors business.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities and ensure effective marketing communication of the value proposition.
- Communicate delivery timelines, payment terms, and general conditions to customers.
- Handle administrative procedures throughout the sales process and support collection activities and project management as needed.
Required profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of sales or commercial experience, preferably with Drives and Electric Motors.
- Mandatory familiarity with the mining industry.
- Advanced English proficiency and willingness to travel.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce.
- Proficiency in SAP.
