Senior Accountant – International

About the role

AgroFresh is seeking a Senior Accountant – International to ensure accurate statutory accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting for multiple global entities. Based in Rancagua, the role works closely with International Accounting, Finance Shared Services, regional leadership, and corporate headquarters in a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Perform statutory accounting and month‑end close activities for several international entities.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and margin results.
• Coordinate reconciliations and close activities with Corporate Accounting and Shared Services.
• Manage corporate income tax, VAT, WHT, and other local tax reporting requirements.
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of management reports and variance analyses.
• Monitor cash requirements, funding, and liquidity planning.
• Support internal controls, segregation of duties, and audit requirements while identifying process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
