Senior Accountant Manager

About the role

Datwyler is seeking a Senior Accountant Manager to lead general ledger and fixed‑asset accounting activities across its manufacturing operations. You will work closely with the Shared Service Center and ensure accurate financial reporting in line with German HGB, IFRS and Swiss GAP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and fixed‑asset registers.
• Collaborate actively with the Shared Service Center.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB, IFRS (Swiss GAP experience desirable).
• Process bank transactions and execute payment runs.
• Produce analyses, variance reports and management reports.
• Prepare and submit statistical reports.

Required profile

• Commercial vocational training or university degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting.
• Several years of financial accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with financial forecasting, group reporting and managing multiple legal entities.
• Knowledge of corporate group structures and related treasury operations.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and a structured work approach.
