Senior Android Developer (Kotlin, MVVM, Hilt)

About the role

Applaudo is looking for a Senior Android Developer who is passionate about building high‑quality, scalable mobile applications. You will work in a fast‑paced Agile environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, production‑ready software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Implement new features and improve existing functionality.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Platform, and Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Android best practices and modern architectural patterns.
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services into mobile apps.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance and stability.
• Support CI/CD processes and automated build/release workflows.
• Engage in architecture discussions and continuous improvement of the mobile platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent experience (desired).
• Upper‑Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B2+).
