Senior Android Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our remote‑first technology team. You will help design and deliver high‑impact, scalable Android applications while collaborating with cross‑functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product and design requirements into technical tasks and own feature delivery end‑to‑end.
• Architect, build, and maintain resilient, well‑tested native Android apps using Kotlin.
• Design robust network layers, caching strategies, and offline‑first workflows.
• Integrate third‑party SDKs, hardware capabilities, and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Create modern, responsive UI with Jetpack Compose while ensuring smooth animations.
• Participate in technical design reviews, set Android engineering and testing standards.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in native Android development.
• Hands‑on experience taking greenfield products from concept to launch.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow
• Android architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI) and Jetpack components
• Dependency injection frameworks (Hilt, Dagger)
• Jetpack Compose and Material Design
• Testing frameworks (JUnit, Mock, Espresso, Compose Test)
• CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise, GitHub Actions) and Google Play Console deployment
• RESTful and GraphQL API integration
• AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)
