Senior Big Data Software Engineer (Snowflake & DBT)

About the role

In this role you will design and develop scalable data warehouse and ELT solutions that support analytics and business decision‑making. You will own reliable data workflows and large‑scale analytical datasets, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality data assets focused on performance, data quality, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
• Build and optimise data transformations and models using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
• Develop and maintain workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow.
• Design data models and ingestion frameworks for large‑scale analytical datasets.
• Implement data quality, validation, and auditing processes across workflows.
• Develop data integration solutions across AWS and Snowflake environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or related fields.
• Upper‑intermediate or higher English proficiency for collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

• Snowflake and modern cloud‑based data warehouse solutions.
• SQL for large‑scale datasets and complex transformations.
• Python for data engineering, transformation, and automation.
• dbt for data modelling, testing, and documentation.
