Senior Director, Commercial Officer – SOLA

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Director, Commercial Officer for its SOLA business unit. The role will drive global commercial strategy, support product launches, and lead a large, cross‑functional team to increase market adoption of Medtronic’s solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global operating plans that support product and program launches and achieve sales targets.
• Partner with field sales teams to boost product adoption through customer education, training, and messaging.
• Define and execute product and service strategies that deliver operational excellence, high quality, and economic value.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, clinic operations, quality, legal, finance, marketing, IT, and project management to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Lead multiple departments or divisions, providing clear direction and establishing organizational policies for a major segment of the company.
• Mentor, develop, and coach staff, conduct performance reviews, and manage talent to meet departmental goals.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in commercial leadership within the healthcare or medical‑device industry.
• Proven ability to manage large, multi‑disciplinary teams and drive strategic initiatives.
• Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and increasing market share.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
