Senior Project Manager – Managed Services

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to own capacity and resource allocation for our Managed Services squads. The role ensures accurate tracking of team availability, utilisation and workload balance while supporting delivery across a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Track capacity and resource allocation across squads, providing forward‑looking forecasts.
• Monitor hours consumption against retainer allocations, flagging discrepancies early.
• Identify delivery risks such as timeline slippage, bottlenecks or scope creep and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Manage squad‑level delivery processes, including backlogs, sprint progress and ceremonies.
• Partner with the London‑based Senior PM to align client commitments with internal capacity.
• Support the Director of Managed Services with operational reporting and portfolio status updates.
• Maintain documentation hygiene in tools like Jira, Notion and Tempo.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, templates and tooling.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics for new clients and squad members.

Required profile

• 4–6+ years of experience in project, delivery or operations management within a digital agency, consultancy or software delivery environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with strong attention to detail.
• Hands‑on experience in resource or capacity management and operational reporting.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience running sprint ceremonies.
