Senior React Native Engineer – Consumer Mobile

About the role

The Consumer Mobile team at Kraken builds the flagship app used by millions to manage their crypto assets. As a Senior React Native Engineer you will turn ambiguous client problems into intuitive, high‑performance mobile experiences, working closely with product and design.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end, from discovery and technical design through implementation, launch and iteration.
• Collaborate with Product and Design early in the development process to shape solutions.
• Build responsive, data‑rich experiences using APIs and real‑time data streams.
• Make architectural and implementation decisions across a modern React Native codebase.
• Raise the product‑engineering bar through code reviews, technical discussions and strong product ownership.

Required profile

• Strong React Native experience with production‑shipped applications.
• Product‑building mindset, able to start from the client problem rather than a ticket.
• Demonstrated impact of shipped features, using metrics and client feedback.
• Comfort with end‑to‑end feature ownership, including discovery, launch and iteration.
• Experience with data‑rich, real‑time applications and mobile performance optimization.
• Effective collaboration with designers and product managers in a globally distributed team.
• Versatility in using AI coding tools while retaining ownership of engineering decisions.
