Senior Recruitment Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant you will be a leading figure within the team, managing client relationships, driving new business and mentoring junior colleagues. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality placements and contributing to the growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue by making placements and consistently exceeding billing targets.
• Negotiate terms, manage and close complex deals while supporting team members.
• Source, match and present the highest quality candidates to clients for both existing and speculative roles.
• Continuously generate PRCs to assist team growth and uphold Robert Walters corporate values.
• Develop new business opportunities, maintain client relationships and exceed KPI targets such as client meetings per week.
• Mentor less‑experienced colleagues, lead candidate reviews and support the team manager when needed.
• Develop cross‑divisional and cross‑regional relationships and actively cross‑sell other teams.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of recruitment experience (preferred) and a Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required).
• Strong negotiation, relationship‑building and business‑development skills.
• Entrepreneurial, organised, detail‑oriented with a positive, results‑driven attitude.
• Leadership abilities, capable of mentoring junior staff and taking ownership of key accounts.
• Proven ability to exceed KPIs, such as conducting multiple client meetings per week.
