Senior Rust Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Rust Engineer to design and build high‑performance backend services. You will work remotely, collaborating with a global team of top‑tier engineers to deliver scalable, secure systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend services and APIs using Rust and frameworks such as Actix or Axum.
• Implement asynchronous programming patterns to handle high‑concurrency workloads.
• Manage data persistence and optimise PostgreSQL queries for performance‑critical applications.
• Develop and integrate communication protocols using gRPC or JSON‑RPC.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain services in AWS cloud environments.
• Ensure system reliability and performance through testing, profiling and memory‑safe code optimisation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on systems programming.
• Strong expertise in Rust and building performance‑critical backend services.
• Proficiency with web frameworks such as Actix or Axum and asynchronous patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, gRPC or JSON‑RPC, and AWS deployments.
• Deep understanding of low‑level networking and high‑performance system architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
